The City of San Jose has issued a notice regarding the Terraine Mixed-Use Project, identified as SP21-045 & ER21-312, located on the Southwest Corner of Bassett Street and Terraine Street in Downtown San José. The project, spanning over a 1.57-acre vacant lot, is set to unfold in two distinct phases.

In the initial phase, a 17-story residential tower comprising 345 units and a nine-level parking tower will be constructed on a shared podium. The podium will encompass parking facilities, loading areas, mechanical rooms, lobbies, and up to 11,777 square feet of retail space. Additionally, a landscaped/open space area will be integrated between the residential and parking towers.

The subsequent phase of the project will involve the transformation of the parking tower into a 210,328 square feet office building. The City of San Jose has scheduled a Director's Hearing for Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 9:00 AM. The hearing will take place either in-person or through a virtual meeting via Zoom Teleconference. The agenda and Zoom link for the hearing will be posted one week prior on the official City of San Jose website.

The Terraine Mixed-Use Project aims to contribute to the urban landscape of Downtown San José, offering a blend of residential and commercial spaces. The upcoming Director's Hearing provides an opportunity for stakeholders and the public to engage with the project's details and voice any concerns or feedback they may have.
