On Sunday, April 27, former Abraham Lincoln High School standout Steven Oliva’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the McNeese State Cowboys.
The game took place at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cowboys this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park against Texas Tech Red Raiders.
