On Tuesday, April 8, former Abraham Lincoln High School standout Steven Oliva’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The game took place at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park. This was their first matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns this season.

The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.
