Former Independence High School star Alyssa Malla and her Point Loma Sea Lions were defeated 74-60 by the Western Washington Vikings in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The contest, marking their first tournament game against Western Washington, was held at Nicholson Arena at 2:30 p.m.
