At 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, Michael Moriarty—a former Bellarmine College Preparatory School standout—pitched one inning as the Puget Sound Loggers lost to the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen 9-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball contest.
George “Sparky” Anderson Field & Ullman Stadium hosted the teams for their first meeting of the season.
Moriarty tallied two walks during his outing from the mound.
The Loggers are set to play again on Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m. against the Whitman Blues at Borleske Stadium.
