Former Archbishop Mitty High School standout Nathan Noronha and the CMS Stags were defeated 79-62 by the UW La Crosse Eagles in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.
The opening-round contest tipped off at 6:50 p.m. at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse, marking the Stags’ first tournament game against the UW La Crosse Eagles.
Robert Vaihola will return to play for San José State men’s basketball during his senior year after spending last season at Minnesota. Coach Tim Miles praised Vaihola’s impact during his previous stints with SJSU.
