On Friday, March 21, former Piedmont Hills High School standout Eli Hernandez’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 10-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.
The game took place at Glennen Field. This was their first matchup against the Jets this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Glennen Field against Newman Jets.
