Former Archbishop Mitty High School standout Rena Robinson and her current team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, were defeated 90-85 by the Hope Flying Dutch in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.
The contest, which tipped off at 8:30 p.m., was the Titans’ first encounter with the Hope Flying Dutch in the tournament and was held at DeVos Fieldhouse.
Robert Vaihola will return to play for San José State men’s basketball during his senior year after spending last season at Minnesota. Coach Tim Miles praised Vaihola’s impact during his previous stints with SJSU.
