On Sunday, April 27, former Archbishop Mitty High School standout Elon Butler’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The game took place at Levine-Fricke Field. This was their third matchup against the Hokies this season.
The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 3 p.m. at Skytop Softball Stadium against Syracuse Orange.
