San José State Athletics announced on Mar. 10 a new “Fan-Friendly” pricing model for the 2026 Spartan Football season, aiming to make games more accessible and enhance the fan experience at CEFCU Stadium.

The initiative is designed to focus on community engagement, affordability for families, and creating an energetic atmosphere during home games. The university said it wants CEFCU Stadium to be the premier gathering place in the South Bay by lowering season ticket prices and offering discounted family bundles.

For the 2026 season, San José State will host seven home games, including matchups against Cal Poly, Fresno State, Wyoming, New Mexico, Northern Illinois (NIU), UNLV, and North Dakota State (NDSU). This marks only the second time since 2006 that the Spartans will have seven home games in a single season. The schedule features notable contests such as the home opener against Cal Poly on Sept. 12 and a first-ever meeting with North Dakota State on Nov. 28.

A key part of the new strategy involves concentrating all season ticket memberships and individual game tickets in the lower level of CEFCU Stadium to maximize energy and create a more intimate environment. The upper level will be closed for general sales but available for large group events and “Community Nights” involving local businesses and schools.

Season ticket memberships are now available and include benefits such as priority renewal, access to postseason tickets, and participation in ticket exchange programs. Fans interested in securing seats can visit SJSUspartans.com/tickets or contact the Spartan Ticket Office.
