San José State Athletics announces weekly schedule and recent results for multiple sports

San José State Athletics released its weekly update on April 13, outlining recent results and upcoming events across several sports programs.

The announcement provides a summary of last week’s performances and previews the schedule ahead, helping fans stay informed about the university’s athletic activities.

Spartan Football is set to host its annual Spring Game at CEFCU Stadium in San Jose on April 18. The event marks a key milestone in preparations for the upcoming football season. Additional details about the full football schedule, ticket information, and kids camp opportunities are available through official channels.

In men’s golf, San José State will compete in the 79th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz from April 13 to April 15. The tournament can be followed through dedicated online platforms and television coverage.

Track and field athletes will participate in both the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa and Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut from April 16 to April 18. Last week, they took part in the Baylor Invitational.

The gymnastics team travels to Texas for NCAA Championships at Dickies Arena between April 16 and April 18. Meanwhile, women’s beach volleyball faces Cal Poly and Pepperdine on April 17 before matches against Cal and Stanford on April 18; last week saw mixed results with wins over Pacific and CSU Bakersfield but losses to Santa Clara, UC Davis, and Saint Mary’s.

Softball will play Utah State away from Friday through Sunday after splitting games last week against Colorado State (two losses) and San Diego State (one loss followed by an eight-run victory). Baseball faces Cal on April 15 before a two-game series at Fresno State starting April 17; their previous week included games against Cal Poly (loss) and Nevada (one win out of three).

Tennis concludes its regular season with a match at Fresno State’s Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center on April 16 after road defeats against UNLV and Nevada last week due to rescheduling caused by weather conditions.

These updates reflect ongoing efforts by San José State Athletics to keep supporters engaged as teams progress through their respective seasons.
