San José State University has announced the premiere of season four, episode two of “The Charge,” its all-access athletics show. The new episode will air on Sunday, December 7 at 2:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Bay Area.
The latest installment provides viewers with a look behind the scenes at recent developments within SJSU Athletics. According to the university, this episode covers notable moments including championship achievements and significant milestones for several teams and individuals.
One feature highlights the Spartans’ wide receiver group, which had a record-setting 2025 season led by Danny Scudero. Scudero finished first in the nation for both receiving yards and receiving yards per game.
Another segment covers the retirement of Simon Tobin, head coach of men’s soccer, who is recognized for his long and successful career with the program.
The episode also spotlights San José State men’s water polo as it secures its second West Coast Conference Championship in three years. This accomplishment marks continued growth for the program within its conference.
