93 percent of applicants to Carrington College-San Jose were admitted for fall 2018

At Carrington College-San Jose, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 87 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in San Jose enrolled 629 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 18.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of California.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (36 percent) and Asian (22 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 91 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 71 percent enrolled.
