Cost of college went up for all students at CET-Sobrato

Tuition and fees rose 7 percent for 2018-19 at CET-Sobrato, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $15,375 to attend the private not-for-profit school this year – $1,000 more than the $14,375 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 60 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 93 students received grants or scholarships totaling $635,995 and 79 students took out student loans totaling more than $520,775.

Including all undergraduates (248), 208 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.5 million, and 179 students took out $1.1 million in federal student loans.
