The City of San José has announced the return of CityDance San José, a monthly, free, all-ages music and open-air dancing series in downtown San José. The event dates and corresponding music genres for this year are as follows:

- Thursday, June 20 – Salsa

- Thursday, July 18 – Bollywood

- Thursday, August 15 – Vogue and Waacking

- Thursday, September 19 – Country

Events will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Circle of Palms, located at 127 S. Market St., in front of the San José Museum of Art. The series features professional dance lessons followed by dancing with a live band or DJ. Additionally, attendees receive free admission to the San José Museum of Art and can enjoy a specially curated menu at Cafecito by Mezcal, the museum’s café.

"This is the eighth year the City hosts the popular series that has attracted more than 10,000 people over the past seven years," stated Carlos Velazquez, Public Information Manager for the Office of Economic Development & Cultural Affairs.

CityDance San José is co-presented by the City of San José Office of Economic Development & Cultural Affairs in partnership with the San José Museum of Art, El Cafecito by Mezcal, Envision Pro AV and the San Jose Downtown Association.
