Rep. Zoe Lofgren, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 18th district, recently shared her views on several pressing issues via social media posts. Her tweets addressed topics ranging from the actions of the Trump Administration to recovery efforts following natural disasters and proposed cuts in healthcare spending.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Lofgren criticized the Trump Administration's policies, stating: "The Trump Admin is taking unprecedented actions that hurt our communities. @HouseDemocrats won't stand idly by." She mentioned collaborating with fellow representatives Ro Khanna and Sam Liccardo to oppose measures she described as "stealing Americans' $ granted by Congress & extreme immigration measures."

Later that day, Rep. Lofgren visited the sites affected by the Altadena fire and expressed her commitment to assisting Californians in their recovery efforts. She noted: "Seeing the sites of the Altadena fire in-person was even more stunning than seeing photos." As Chair of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation, she emphasized her dedication to helping residents recover "in a nonpartisan way."

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Lofgren voiced concerns about Republican plans for significant cuts to healthcare funding, aimed at benefiting billionaires financially. She referenced a report by Politico in her post: "Republicans plan to cut $3 TRILLION from Americans’ health care to help billionaires get richer." The tweet highlighted House Democrats' opposition to these proposed spending cuts.
