On Wednesday, March 26, former Archbishop Mitty High School standout Elon Butler’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 16-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the James Madison Dukes.
The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their first matchup against the Dukes this season.
The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at Levine-Fricke Field against Nevada Wolf Pack.
