April 24: COVID-19 linked to 5 L.A. County deaths over 7 day period

During the seven-day period that began April 17, five Los Angeles County residents died as a result of complications related to a COVID-19 infection, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner office updates death totals daily as it receives more data. As a result, these figures can change as more data becomes available.
