The City of San José has released the Public Review Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the 3464 Ambum Avenue Residential Project, under file numbers PDC22-008, PD22-021, T22-034, and ER22-237. The project proposes the redevelopment of a 2.59-acre site located at 3464 Ambum Avenue in San José, California.

The redevelopment plan includes Planned Development Rezoning, a Planned Development Permit, and a Tentative Map. The proposal involves demolishing existing structures on the site and reconfiguring the parcel into four lots to construct new single-family residences. Additionally, an existing private driveway will be widened, extended, realigned, and converted into a new private street adjoining Ambum Avenue. The project will also involve the removal of 39 on-site trees, including 23 ordinance-sized trees.

The public comment period for this Draft MND is open from Monday, June 3, 2024 until Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Comments can be submitted via email to Nhu Nguyen at Nhu.Nguyen@sanjoseca.gov or mailed to the Department of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement at 200 E. Santa Clara Street, Tower 3, San Jose, CA 95113.

Further details about the project are available on the project's website.
